Alex’s Surprise Birthday

Alex’s birthday was last month and it was the first time I ever planned a surprise birthday. Let’s just say, it took alot more work planning than I had imagined and it got very frustrating as the day came closer since things weren’t working out how I had planned. But, in the end everything worked out perfectly and surprisingly, no one spilled the beans! Friday we went to Mesa Bar, which was his idea. Saturday I had planned to do brewery tours at two different places in LA, dinner in LA, and go out somewhere. The first brewery, Eagle Rock, gave us a tour and told us how beer was made. The second one, Angel City Brewing, was alot cooler than I had expected. There was an art gallery inside and a food truck. Everyone enjoyed it so I’m glad. We ended up going back to OC, skipped dinner, and took a party bus to LA to go to My Studio. Sunday, he didn’t think we were doing anything since it was mother’s day but we had a pool party and one of our friends came to DJ. Birthday weekend success! =]
