My family knows that my Dad always tries to be the cool and funny guy. Sometimes he’s funny, but majority of the time it’s just.. *face palm* So I texted him today asking if my concert tickets came in.
Me: did my concert tickets come in?
Dad: Na
I wasn’t sure if he was trying to be cool and say ‘nah’ or ‘naw’. He calls me 30 minutes later..
Me: what does ‘na’ mean?
Dad: you know, like.. ‘naaa’
Me: omgg I was right… are you trying to be cool? No Dad, it’s ‘nah’ or ‘naw’
Dad: but you don’t pronounce the ‘h’ or ‘w’. Why would you spell it that way?
